Get Events Listed

Launching in Cleveland & Northeast Ohio

Create your event once. Share it everywhere it fits.

Get Events Listed turns one complete event into a tailored version for each eligible free event calendar, submits it the way each site allows, and shows you exactly what's live, what's awaiting review and what's waiting on you.

About 5 minutes of your time for a prepared organizer, instead of an hour or more of retyping. Sites set their own review times, so some listings go live later.

How it works

Three steps, one listing, many calendars

  1. Step 1: Create one master event

Title, dates, venue, tickets, image and accessibility details, entered once. Save a draft whenever you like.

  2. Step 2: Choose where it fits

See the free calendars in your market that match your event, each with its own limits and a preview of your copy.

  3. Step 3: Start the run and track it

API sites go automatically. Sites that need you are guided one at a time, and the queue waits for your final click.

Stop retyping the same event

Typical time for one event sent to about ten calendars, based on the organizer's own effort. Site review time isn't included in either bar.

Why organizers use it

Less copy-paste. More clarity.

Copy that fits each site

Character and word limits are counted for every field. We suggest a shortened version, and you can edit any of them.

Honest status for every site

“Submitted” and “published” are separate states. You get receipts and listing links when a site provides them.

One calm queue

Guided sites come up one at a time. Pause whenever you need to and pick up where you left off.

Local first

Built around the Cleveland and Northeast Ohio calendar landscape, with room to add more markets later.

Made for organizers, promoters, venues, festivals, neighborhood groups and small businesses.

How submissions actually work

Every site accepts events in its own way

We use each site's approved route and tell you which one it is. When a site needs a person, that person is you, and we make that part quick.

Approved API

When a site offers an API we're approved to use, we send your listing directly. You don't need to do anything during the run.

Your connected account

Some sites post events under your own account. You sign in on the site's own page and approve access. We never see your password.

Guided browser step

Many community calendars only accept a web form. We fill it in a supervised browser, you check it and press the site's submit button, and then the queue moves on.

Not every channel fits every event, and we say so

Channels like these are listed separately with the reason, plus what you can do instead. We never submit to them automatically.

  • Member-only calendars
  • Editor-picked roundups
  • Printed community boards
  • Affiliate-only calendars

An event isn't a website posting

An event is one thing you're promoting. A destination is a site it's sent to. Your plan counts events, and destinations are unlimited.

2 events × 9 eligible sites each
$19 total
A third event that month
+$5

Site counts are examples. How many sites fit depends on your event and market.

FAQ

Straight answers

Approvals, eligibility, account connections and privacy.

Will every site publish my event?

No. Each site decides for itself. Some publish right away, some review events first, and some may decline. We show which is which, and we never mark a listing as published until we've found it live.

How do you decide which sites are eligible?

We match on your market, whether the event is in person or online, its category, and each site's own rules, such as free listings, membership requirements or editorial-only coverage. Sites that don't fit are listed separately with the reason.

Do I need accounts on these sites?

Only on some of them. API sites need nothing from you. Some sites post under your own account, which you connect by signing in on the site's page. Some guided sites ask you to sign in inside their own form during the guided step.

Do you store my passwords?

No. We never ask for your site passwords. Connected accounts use the site's own authorization screen, and during guided steps you type straight into the site in a supervised session.

What happens to my event details?

They're sent only to the sites you choose, and you can preview exactly what each site will get before you start. Your contact details are included only when a site requires them.

What counts as one event?

One master event counts once, however many sites it goes to. Editing and re-sending it doesn't count again. Your plan includes 2 events a month, and each additional event that month is $5.

How long does it really take?

If your details, image and links are ready, finishing the event and starting the run takes about five minutes of your time. Guided sites need a quick check and click from you, and sites that review events may take hours or days to publish them.
